Reflection....
Hello! Welcome again.
Dear fellows, we are going toward the end of our journey in this subject.
The upcoming weeks are the final steps to achieve our main goals.
Almost after one week, is my turn to present or deliver that lesson we have as our final project.
Of course, we are working on that, I mean my partner and me, but we are a little bit confused about some things. Since we have to teach listening skills to our "students" we are having some difficulties finding some interesting games. We have already created the exercises and we are also working on the interactive Powerpoint.
I am enjoying the time while I am working on this project, but I don't know why I am feeling worried.
Maybe it is because I think that together with my colleague we are not going to perform well and this will be reflected in our final grade. Let's face it, we are all worried about our final mark.
My colleagues will be my students in this case, and I find this a little bit strange because they will have to put themselves in the role of 8th-grade pupils. Besides, they have a kind of a central role, they should be attentive and cooperative all the time. I really hope, I will have their support. They as will assess my work as well, and I am not worried about this, they will only do their job.
However, let's take only the positive side of all this experience. It will serve me, in fact, all of us as an experience in teaching and under abnormal circumstances. So we are preparing to teach not only in a physical class but also in an online class.

Hi I like your genuine way of expressing thoughts from your perspective, and I would agree upon the negative feeling and anxiety of failure which is smth that happens to me as well. And yes we should see the other half of the glass, the postive side it provides us with. Wish you luck on your presentation.

ReplyDeleteHi Meguu! I know that bad feeling when you are working for something in this case for your project and you are thinking all the time for the mark because it is important. I think beside this confusion that you and your project's partner are having I belive that you are going to have a great presentation as you always do.
